Disabling New Order Notifications in Shopify
By default, Shopify will send the store owner an email every time a new order is created. This is great for keeping track of new orders but can cause a flood of emails when importing old orders into Shopify.
Fortunately, Shopify provides a simple way to disable these new order notifications.
To disable new order notifications:
- Log in to your Shopify admin
- Go to Settings
3. Click Notifications
4. Scroll down to the Staff order notifications section.
5. Click Disable next to your name.
That's all there is to it! Now you won't receive an email each time an order is created or imported.
If you would like to turn the notifications back on:
- Click Enable by your name:
